This is my second pass during the Wild Street competition during the 2003 NMRA Finals in Bowling Green, KY. On this pass I raised my launch RPM to 4000. It didn't bog as bad, which dropped my 60 ft to 1.63 sec. It felt much better and I think I was on track for a 10-sec pass, but something happened after the first pass and my car now didn't want to go into 4th gear. So, I missed the 4th gear shift. It took a couple tries to get it in gear. If you listen during the first pass you can clearly hear the syncros during the 3rd and 4th gear shifts. I am not sure whether it was the trans or something else, so I'll have to track it down.
UPDATE: Eventually figured out that there was a clutch adjustment / cable issue. That's all the problem was.
